#WICweek NAWIC NCR

Grand Rapids Chapter celebrated WIC Week with our annual appreciation luncheon. We had Author & speaker, Sarah Brabbs ( Optimizing Relationships ) give a great presentation on communicating in difficult situations. Make sure to check out her page and website for more info.

Our Chapter also honored 2 members with awards. This year’s Foremost Leader is Teresa Riley & our New Leader is Angela Lemke. Congratulations on the well deserved recognition and awards!! 🎉 These two women have been pivotal members of our board of directors! I can’t sing their praises enough.

On top of that we heard from the founder of Hand2Hand and learned about how they make a difference in thousands of children’s lives by providing nutritious snacks and meals. We collected a table full of kids snack donations!!

Last, but not least, as a special bonus for Women in Construction Week our chapter is offering a copy of Sarah Brabb’s book to the first 4 new members to sign-up in the month of March! ... See MoreSee Less
