Applications for the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Chapter #194 are now
being accepted until April 30, 2021. One scholarship is awarded annually to a student that is accepted or
currently attending a college, university, or technical trade school, pursuing a career in a construction
related field. Applicants enrolling in a college or university must have a 3.00 or better grade point
average to apply. Applicants enrolling in a technical trade school must have a 2.60 or better grade point
average to apply.
The scholarship automatically renews for 4 years as long as the student continues to meet the eligibility
requirements. $1,000 is awarded each year, with a maximum of $4,000 awarded per recipient.
NAWIC’s core purpose is to enhance the success of women in the construction industry through
leadership development, professional education, and community outreach.
