ABOUT
The National Association of Women in Construction was formed in 1953 by 16 women in the construction industry in Fort Worth, Texas. The Grand Rapids Chapter #194 was chartered in 1973, with 16 members currently and growing. NAWIC has more than 150 chapters nationwide and almost 4,000 members as of 2024. Globally, NAWIC has affiliates in Australia, Canada, New Zeeland, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.
